2022 Latimore Valley Fair

37th LATIMORE VALLEY FAIR

FAIR DATE: June 24th, 25th, and 25th, 2022

Summer just wouldn’t be summer without the annual Latimore Valley Fair…a true country festival with antique, classic cars, antique gas engines and tractors with their wonderful display of tractors along with parades, pulls, and other events.

Track time for the antique race car exhibition will be on Saturday from 12-3 p.m. and We will have a Chili Cook-off open to the public at 11 a.m..

WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP!

The Latimore Valley Fairground committee and our volunteers work very hard getting ready for the fair. If you would like to help prepare for the fair, or if you happen to be camping, during the days prior to and during the fair and looking for something to do, please contact Kelly Waters at (717) 360-3845 or call the museum at (717) 528-8279. WE NEVER TURN DOWN FREE HELP!

Our fair volunteers have been supporting the museum all year long. The fair does run much smoother and everyone gets a chance to enjoy it if we all take a turn. Again, we are looking for volunteers to help out with various jobs throughout the fair.

Please look at the list below and volunteer 1 or 2 hours a day for any of the following. This year we will have a sign-up book so that you can put down the hours you are interested in helping.

  • Parking Cars
  • EMMR Games and Ticket Sales
  • Shuttle Drivers
  • Information Booth
  • Raffle & 50/50 Ticket Sales
  • Help in the Museum
  • Trash Pick Up
  • Rocket Drivers

Again, this year our CONCESSION STAND will not be open. We have asked Bricker’s Concession to come in. They will be there for our major events. However, we will be selling sodas & merchandise from our EMMR stand. We will need help there.

DONATIONS $ -Your financial help is also needed to help defray the cost of the fair. If you cannot make it to the fair, perhaps you could contribute by sending a donation to help

insure a profitable fair. Any contributions to EMMR are tax deductible. Below you will find a fair contribution form. Please fill it out and send it along with your contribution.

WE NEED RAFFLE ITEMS!!! One of our biggest money makers at the fair is our nightly raffle. If you have an item, please contact Kelly Waters at (717) 360-3584 or call the museum at (717) 528-8279 and let them know, drop it off at the museum on a weekend or just bring it to the fair. Perhaps you can solicit your local businesses for items.
